a Polish chess program, a WinBoard compliant engine, optionally with an own GUI, written by Grzegorz Sidorowicz. Its first release comes from December 31, 1999, and the name is a pun based on prediction that the world would end in 2000 [1] .
Armageddon regularly played the Polish Computer Chess Championship and became runner up at the PCCC 2002 and PCCC 2003. It further participated at the CCT3, CCT4 and CCT5 on-line tournaments.
