Frank Thuijsman,
a Dutch mathematician and game theorist, associate professor in mathematics and chair of the research group networks and strategic optimization at the department of data science and knowledge engineering at Maastricht University [1]. At the Heuristic Programming Workshop of the 3rd Computer Olympiad, he gave an introduction to the theory of games [2]. His research includes stochastic games, which generalize both Markov decision processes and repeated games.
