Grand Master, (Grandmaster, Grandmaster Chess, Schaken, Ajedrez II)
a chess program initially developed by Fritz Schäfer [1] for the Commodore VIC-20, later ported for the Commodore 64 and Commodore 16, and released in 1982 through Schäfer's former Homecomputer Software company Kingsoft [2], and Audiogenic in the UK. The Spacious Mind considers Grand Master as one of the strongest chess programs available on Home Computers at that time [3].
