Greif,
a chess program by engine author Michael Ehrig, supported by tester and opening book author Daniel Mehrmann. Greif played the WMCCC 1993 in Munich [1] and the IPCCC 1994 and was identified by Rainer Serfling [2] at the end of the Clodra chess tournament in November 1994 as a clone of Chrilly Donninger's program Nimzo 2 [3]. During a heated Rybka clone discussion in CCC Daniel Mehrmann assured to know nothing about the Greif sources [4].
