Guillaume Chaslot,
a French computer scientist at Google, Venice, California, Ph.D. in 2010 from Maastricht University on Monte-Carlo Tree Search [1], and working in the fields of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Guillaume Chaslot is co-autor of the Backgammon program MCgammon, along with Jahn-Takeshi Saito author of the Go playing program Mango, and contributor of MoGo, both using Monte-Carlo Tree Search and patterns in the simulations and improvements in UCT [2][3].
