Hans Kuijf,
a Dutch computer scientist, chess player [1] , computer games and Bridge programmer, and author of the Bridge program Jack [2] [3] . Jack is multiple Bridge Computer World Champion and is market by Kuijf & Kuijf Software, a software company founded by Hans and his brother Nico [4] in 1990 [5] . Hans and Nico Kuijf were the developers of the Chess databases NICBase and TascBase. Further, Hans Kuijf was involved in the Database programming of Chessmaster 6000 and 7000 [6] , until in 2000 he focused on Bridge. He was section editor of the ICGA Journal until 2012.
