Josu Bergara Ede,
a chess player from Basque County who holds a degree in Physical Sciences from Euskal Herriko Unibersitatea. Having been working for many companies on programming applications, he decided to use his knowledge to develop a portable dedicated chess system based on the Raspberry Pi , which he called Gavon [1] in honor of glorious Novag chess computers [2], to spend the Sunday morning peacefully at home playing chess.

Josu wants to thank all those who program software or build computers to play chess with those words: [3]

  • Gens una sumus

because maybe they were not conscious that have made people happy with their work.
