Chess Computer

On his site [6], Max Dobres describes how to build a chess computer with a wooden sensory board controlled by an Arduino, which is connected to a more powerfull Raspberry PI. A Python 2.7 controller program on the PI runs Stockfish using UCI and monitors the game state using the Pygame ChessBoard Library [7] to interact with the Arduino board [8] for a fully working chess computer that recognises piece positions using reed switches and signals its move using a LED on each square.
