Michael (Mig) Greengard,
an American chess and political writer, commentator, blogger, and communications director. In 1997 he started his online colum Mig on Chess for The Week In Chess, since 1999 for KasparovChess.com. In 2002 and 2003 Mig on Chess was hosted by ChessBase and ChessCafe.com [1], where he focused on man versus machine matches such as Kramnik versus Deep Fritz 2002, Kasparov versus Deep Junior 2003 and Kasparov versus X3D Fritz 2003, which also became manifest in his CCC postings during that time. He continued with chessninja.com [2] featuring the chess blog The Daily Dirt, since 2011 active on Twitter [3]. Mig Greengard worked with Garry Kasparov since 1999, and is his aide, editor and ghostwriter [4]. He maintains the official English website of the Russian pro-democracy coalition, The Other Russia [5].
