PocketGrandmaster,
a chess program for Windows Pocket PCs and mobiles by Frank Schneider and Kai Skibbe, based on Gromit Chess 3.9.5, which finished 4th at WMCCC 2001 winning the title of the World Microcomputer Amateur Chess Champion [1], and its successor Anaconda [2]. PocketGrandmaster is shareware and some features are limited in the unregistered version [3] [4]. It features its own GUI and UCI like protocol [5] with additional adapted chess engines available for ARM and XScale processor devices, Naum 4, Toga II, Fruit 2.1 and SOS [6]. PocketGrandmaster supports the DGT Board and is FICS and ICS client.
