Rachelle S. Heller,
an American computer scientist, professor at Department of Computer Science [1], George Washington University, Washington, D.C., associate provost for the Mount Vernon Campus, and director of the Elizabeth Somers Center concerned with issues of women's leadership [2].

In 1996, she was thesis advisor of Santos Gerardo Lazzeri [3], and co-authored several papers on the AI application of Fuzzy logic and case-based reasoning for an intelligent consultant system for strategic advice in chess middlegame positions. Along with C. Dianne Martin, her current research is focused on Multimedia Taxonomy [4] .
