Randall J. (Randy) Hoogerhyde,
an American software developer and B.Sc. in mathematics in 1980 from Grand Valley State University. In the 80s, he developed the commercial Backgammon program Video Gammon, competing at three early Computer Olympiads, winning the Silver medal in London 1989 (behind Neurogammon) , the Gold medal in London 1990 and to complete the set, Bronze in London 1992.
