Walter Bannerman,
a Swiss computer chess programmer with Ghanaian roots and author of the chess engine Ananse [1], which played various World Microcomputer Chess Championships [2], International Paderborn Computer Chess Championships and four consecutive Aegon Tournaments from 1993 to 1996. Walter Bannerman is Director of Sangold Computer Systems [3], which provides translation services [4] and Chess and Computer Workshops.
