a Chess Engine Communication Protocol compatible open source chess engine by Stephan Vermeire and Maurizio Platino, since Version 8 also UCI compliant. Brutus participated at the CPT 2008 and the CPT 2010, the over the board Chess Programmers Tournaments organized by Richard Pijl.
