Chris Peters,
an American electrical engineer and computer scientist with BSEE degree and MSEE degree both from the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington. As former 18-year Microsoft veteran, working on early products like MS-DOS 2.0, Windows 1.0, Word 1.0. and Excel, promoted to General Manager of Microsoft Word, and later to Vice President of Microsoft Office development, Chris Peters is now chairman and an owner of the Professional Bowlers Association [1] [2] [3], and co-founder of Ignition [4], a holding company designed to fund, mentor and build 'wireless Internet' start-up companies [5].

Clash

While affiliated with the University of Washington, Chris Peters developed the chess program Clash in Fortran running on a Texas Instruments TI-990 and competing once the ACM 1980 [9]. Without iterative deepening there was not much to gain, and Clash lost all its four games.
