Dart, (Dart 4.1)
a chess program developed at Dartmouth College as successor of Dartmouth CP by a team around Larry Harris and primary author Warren Montgomery, supported by Danny Kopec, Hal Terrie, and David Levner et al. [1] [2]. Dart was written in GCOS assembly, the language for the GE-635, to run under the Dartmouth Time Sharing System.

ACM 1974

Dart 4.1 played the ACM 1974 in San Diego, where it lost from Chess 4.2 and CHAOS, and won from Xenarbor and Ostrich.
