		Denis Xavier Charles (Denis Charles), an Indian born computer scientist, statistician and priciple scientist at Microsoft Live Labs, Redmond, Washington. He did his undergraduate degree at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, Rajasthan, India, and completed a M.Sc. at University at Buffalo, The State University of New York under the supervision of Kenneth Wingate Regan. He holds a Ph.D. from Department of Computer Science, University of Wisconsin–Madison under Eric Bach. His research interests include the theory of computation, in particular complexity theory, design and analysis of algorithms, combinatorics, number theory and algebra.
