		Dmitry (Dzmitry) A. Badziahin, a Belarusian mathematician currently affiliated with the Durham University. He holds a Ph.D. in 2007 from University of York under advisor Sanju Velani ^[1]. His research interests lie mostly in analytic number theory, in particular Diophantine approximation, with combinatorics of words, generalized Cantor sets and the Littlewood conjecture and its analogues. His hobbies include chess and programming - he is author of the chess utility Kvetka.
