Elke operated XiniX in turn with Tony at the WCCC 2002 and various Dutch Open Computer Chess Championships and International CSVN Tournaments [4]. Elke further wrote tournament reports for Computerschaak, and served as PR assistant for the CSVN [5].
Elke's and Tony's son Sjoerd already shares his parents chess enthusiasm and made it in the Dutch chess news, at age nine becoming Brabant chess champion in his age category [6].
