Fafner,
a chess program by Guy Burkill, first written in Basic and Assembly to run on Burkill's self built 6502 computer. Fafner played the First PCW Microcomputer Chess Championship 1978 [1] , and Fafner 2, written in Pascal and Assembly, supported by Alex Kidson [2] , the Third PCW Microcomputer Chess Championship aka the First World Microcomputer Chess Championship 1980 in London.
