Graeme Thomas, (1956 - November 04, 2006) [1]
was a British Scrabble player and programmer. He had spent over ten years as the chairman of the Association of British Scrabble Players. Along with Steve Thomas, he is co-author of the Scrabble program Crab 2 [2], which started as a lightly-edited version of Andrew Appel's and Guy Jacobson's Crab [3] [4], and won the Gold medal at the 1st Computer Olympiad, London 1989, and Silver at the 2nd Computer Olympiad, London 1990. Graeme Thomas died tragically in a road accident on November 04, 2006.
