Hamsters,
an UCI compliant multi-hamster chess engine by Alessandro Scotti with the goal of a program that has a full-featured and correct implementation of the UCI protocol, and that is able to play standard chess as well as Chess960. It applies a parallel search utilizing up to 8 threads. Binaries are available for Windows and Mac OS X[1]. Hamsters played the CIPS 2007, and was runner-up behind Delfi at the CCC 2008.
