HansDamf is a private chess program by Gerd Isenberg. While the name was initially intended for a new 64-bit chess engine still under development, it is actually a successor of 32-bit IsiChess, using MMX and SSE2 flood-fills ala DirGolem. The name is derived from Hansdampf in allen Gassen, the German resembling of Jack of all trades, master of none.
