Harold (Hal) Bogner,
an American chess master, educator, and arbitor, tournament director and organizer, chess columnist, and associate producer of chess software at Electronic Arts. He served as general manager and consultant of the Internet Chess Club, and in 2005, along with Marty Hirsch, launched the Chess Magnet School [1]. He also helped David Kittinger with WChess in testing and input for evaluation ideas [2].
