Henrik Østerlund Gram was founding member of the Board of Directors of the Free Internet Chess Server (FICS) and a key developer from its creation in early 1995 until 1998 ^[3]. He is initial author of icsDrone ^[4], an interface between an Internet Chess Server (ICS) and a chess engine supporting the Chess Engine Communication Protocol aka XBoard/WinBoard protocol ^[5].
