Henrik Markarian,
an American computer engineer, video game pioneer, and director of technology at AvatarLabs [1] [2]. Before, he was affiliated with NovaLogic, Inc., Starsphere Interactive, Inc. [3], Mindscape and Software Toolworks. He earned a B.Sc. degree in computer engineering from California State University, Northridge [4].

Chessmaster

At Software Toolworks in 1991, Henrik Markarian was project manager of the Chessmaster 3000 [6]. At Starsphere Interactive in 1999, along with co-founder Andrew Iverson, he programmed the Chessmaster II for the PlayStation published by Mindscape [7] [8] [9].
