Jörg Burwitz, a German computer chess programmer, native from island of Rügen, Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. Jörg is author of the chess program Diogenes and co-author of Rainer Serfling's dedicated board chess computer Milobarus. He regularly played the IPCCC tournaments with Diogenes in the 90s, and was sole participant of the New states of Germany.
