Janusz Kraszek,
a Polish computer scientist and 5 danGo player, European Go Champion in 1983 and twelve times Polish Go Champion, active until 2004 [1]. He started playing Go in 1976 while studying at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Warsaw under Jerzy Sacharewicz [2][3]. As computer Go programmer, Janusz Kraszek is author of the Go playing program Star of Poland, Bronze medal winner of the 1st Computer Olympiad, London 1989. He is founder (1991) and CEO of the decoration and accessories warehouse with a name derived from the fascination of Go, GoDan[4].
