KChess,
a family of commercial chess programs written by Rob McDonell in Delphi, market by his software development business company Ark Angles[1] . In the early 90s KChess' development was inspired by Kaare Danielsen'sTurbo Chess program, and the KChess engine is still largely Turbo Chess with some code improvements [2]. KChess has its own GUI to run under Windows, KChess Advance[3] and specially the more sophisticated KChess Elite[4] focus on educational features and are suited for use with screen reader software for the blind or visually impaired[5] .
