The ACM Chess Challenge Kasparov versus Deep Blue 1996 was played in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, from February 10 to 17, 1996. Garry Kasparov won the match versus Deep Blue 4–2, losing game one ^[1] , the first win of a chess computer against a reigning world champion under regular time controls, winning three and drawing in two games.
