was an American electronics engineer renowned for his programming skills [1]. In 1984, he ported Sargon III by primary authors Dan and Kathe Spracklen to the Intel8086 to run on the IBM PC under MS-DOS[2], in 1991 followed by Sargon V: World Class Chess [3].
