Kumar Chellapilla, an Indian American computer scientist and software engineer at Twitter, and before affiliated with Microsoft and Natural Selection, Inc. [1] [2] . He holds a BTech in electrical and computer engineering from Osmania University (1995), a M.Sc. in electrical and computer engineering from Villanova University (1997), and a Ph.D. in computer engineering from University of California, San Diego [3] , where he worked with David B. Fogel on the research project Blondie24, in which a machine evolved itself into an expert checkers player. His research interests include machine learning, genetic programming and character recognition.
