Lionel Moser,
a Canadian computer scientist and Master in CS from University of Waterloo in 1984 on the subject of distributed game tree search. His thesis was according to professor Alejandro López-Ortiz in 1993 ^[1], together with Jonathan Schaeffer's efforts, the last word in parallel computer games.
