Marc Schoenauer, a French mathematician and computer scientist, along with Michèle Sebag head of the TAO Project Team [1] and Senior Researcher of LRI with INRIA Saclay-IDF, CNRS, Paris-Sud 11 University. He graduated at École Normale Supérieure in Paris, and obtained a Ph.D. in Numerical analysis at Université Paris 6 in 1980. Schoenauer has been working in the field of Evolutionary computation and Genetic programming since the early 90s [2] .
