		Mephisto Wundermaschine, (Wonder Machine [1]) a dedicated chess computer by Hegener & Glaser running a Mephisto Genius 2 program by Richard Lang on an 80486 PC under MS-DOS, integrated as LCD laptop with trackball inside the drawer of a heightened Mephisto München board. Only 10 machines were produced around 1993, the price was about 15,000 DM (7,500 €) [2]. Almost the same program of the 68030 assembly branch was further released as Mephisto Genius 68030 as module for the Mephisto module system, sold for only1798 DM [3].

At the WMCCC 1993 in Munich, the Wundermaschine won the Manufacturers Group with TASC R30 and RISC 2500 competing, and further the playoff versus Software Champion Hiarcs for the title of the World Micro Absolute Champion. Thus, the Wundermaschine was the last dedicated world champion.
