Michael Halbherr,
a Swiss computer scientist, technologist, and CEO of NokiaHERE[1], Nokia's mapping and navigation software and services supplier based on a cloud computing model, formerly Nokia Maps (2011–2012), Ovi Maps (2007–2011) and Gate5[2], headed by Halbherr since 1999 and acquired by Nokia in 2006 [3]. Michael Halbherr holds a M.Sc. in electrical engineering from ETH Zurich and a Ph.D. in computer science from MIT in 1994, where he worked on Cilk and contributed to make the chess programm *Socrates work.
