Olaf Jenkner,
a German mathematician, chess composer, former board member of the German chess composition society Die Schwalbe[1] and programmer. In the early 80s, he was affiliated with the Department of Mathematics at the Chemnitz University of Technology, then the Technical University Karl-Marx-Stadt where he was member of the special class of mathematics, physics and technology [2]. Olaf Jenkner is author of the Orthodox Chess Problem Solving program Gustav, initially developed from 1990 until 1993 for the MS-DOS operating system, and actually available as Windows edition Gustav 3.2 [3].
