a Spanish computer chess programmer and author of the Chess Engine Communication Protocol compatible open source chess engine DanaSah [2] [3], and the WinBoard compliant chess engine Caligula [4]. Pedro hosts the Hispanic Chess Engines site to promote the chess engines of Hispanic American authors, using the Winboard and UCI protocols [5], also giving explanations of chess programming aspects, such as move generation, evaluation and search [6].
