a Dutch computer scientist and associate professor at Tilburg Centre for Creative Computing (TiCC) of Tilburg University. He graduated from Delft University of Technology in 1996, and was affiliated with the Maastricht University, where he received his Ph.D. thesis in 2005 titled Adaptive Game AI [1] . His research interests include evolutionary systems, adaptive control, multi-agent systems, knowledge technology and machine learning for commercial game AI [2] .
