Robert C. Holte,
a Canadian computer scientist, and professor and Vice Dean of Science in the Department of Computing Science [1] at the University of Alberta. He holds a B.Sc. (1977) and M.Sc. (1980) in Computer Science from University of Manitoba, and a Ph.D. from Brunel University, England[2] . His research interests include machine learning, games of chance especially Poker, and abstraction and search. He is member of the University of Alberta Computer Poker Research Group (CPRG) [3][4] .
