Roberto Waldteufel, (born 13 Dec 1962)
a French/British [1] computer games programmer born in Spain [2], living on the Island of Jura, Scotland. Roberto is author of the Checkers program Wyllie [3], and the chess program Rabbit [4]. Roberto Waldteufel seemed the first one, who mentioned the optimization trick in 1998 to dense the Rotated Bitboards tables, masking off the redundant outer occupancies [5].
