Shivkumar Shivaji, an American computer scientist, Ph.D. from University of California, Santa Cruz in 2013, machine learning entrepreneur, and chess FIDE Master [1]. His research interests include machine learning (ML) applied to bug predictions after source code changes, and as co-founder of TuringEye [2], financial ML applications that build knowledge models on capital market data [3]. Shivkumar Shivaji is further involved in various chess software projects, such as the Python chess applications Kivy-Chess using Kivy, Chessui, and the CTG converter Ctgexporter, and has contributed to the PicoChess project [4] started by Jean-Francois Romang, more recently supported by Jürgen Précour.
