Sidonia, (Sidonia engine)
a Chess Engine Communication Protocol and UCI compliant chess engine running under Windows, written by Ivan Urwin as part of his Sidonia project, a collection of chess software programs, further including a TCL based script interpreter [1] and a chess game recorder GUI that records games in PGN files. The Sidonia overview [2] illustrates iterative deepening, search, move generation, make move, quiescence and evaluation. Sidonia supports Polyglot and Glass opening book [3] formats, and Gaviota Tablebases, RetroChess and FinalGen [4] endgame tablebase formats.
Sidonia the Sorceress [5]
