Siegfried Jahn,
a German computer scientist, during the mid 70s affiliated with the Technical University of Munich. Along with his advisor Ludwig Zagler, Siegfried Jahn co-authored the early chess program Daja, which was part of his Master's thesis [1]. Daja ran on a TR 440 of the Leibniz-Rechenzentrum [2], and was runner up at the First GI Computer Chess Tournament 1975 in Dortmund [3].
