Stephan Schiffel, a German computer scientist and Ph.D. in 2011 from Dresden University of Technology on General Game Playing and Game Description Language (GDL), where his advisors were Michael Thielscher and Yngvi Björnsson [1]. Along with Michael Thielscher, Stephan Schiffel is co-author of the General Game Playing system FluxPlayer [2] [3], based on the high-level programming system for cognitive agents of all kinds, Flux [4], also topics of his thesis. He now continues his research on General Game Playing and knowledge representation as postdoctoral researcher at School of Computer Science, Reykjavík University.
