(Steve) Lopez, an American Blues singer, self-confessed chess freak, correspondence chessplayer [1], computer chess software collector, computer chess expert [2], and author of chess tutorials. He was affiliated with ChessBase USA, having run their hotline for many years, and was columnist for ChessBase, USCFSales [3],ChessCafe and ChessCentral, featuring ChessBase (Database) and Fritz advice [4] [5]. More recently, Steve Lopez works for ChessOK, the brand name for Convekta Ltd., in presenting the Chess King's Chess Opening Ideas [6], also promoting their products.
