Steve Thomas,
a British Scrabble player, and Scrabble and Awari programmer. Along with Graeme Thomas, he is co-author of the Scrabble program Crab 2 [1], which started as a lightly-edited version of Andrew Appel's and Guy Jacobson's Crab [2] [3], and won the Gold medal at the 1st Computer Olympiad, London 1989, and Silver at the 2nd Computer Olympiad, London 1990. Further, Steve Thomas is author of the Awari program Conchus, winner of the Bronze Medal in 1st Computer Olympiad, London 1989.
