He is author of Chess Engine Communication Protocol compatible WinBoard chess enginesSurprise, first released in June 2004 [2], KnockOut, released in June 2010 [3], and Jumbo, first released in September 2016 [4]. He further supported Michael Hoffmann with the development of Nemo[5], and is a frequent and competent poster in Computer Chess Forums. Sven is skeptic about the ICGAdecision concerning Rybka in 2011 [6].
