The 16th World Microcomputer Chess Championship was combined within the 9th WCCC for all participants playing on a microcomputer with one core. It took place from June 14 to 19, 1999 at Heinz Nixdorf MuseumsForum, Paderborn, Germany, in conjunction with the Advances in Computer Games 9 conference.
