**BugChess2** is a WinBoard compliant chess engine written in C++. It was a complete rewrite and has no code in common with BugChess, and features a parallel search to utilize multiple processors. BugChess2 was first released in May 2006 , and played a strong WCRCC 2008 Annual ACCA World Computer Rapid Chess Championship.
